About
Noemi Tedeschi Blankett was born in Genova, Italy, and moved to Israel in 1970. She now lives and works in Jerusalem.
She obtained a degree in Humanities from the Universita' Statale, Milano, and continued her studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completing her M.A.
At the Hebrew University she also studied Jewish Art.
Tedeschi Blankett has studied privately with some of the outstanding painters in Jerusalem, among them Tova Berlinsky, Joseph Hirsh, Marek Yanai and Sasha Okun.
She learned etching and engraving techniques at the Jerusalem Print Workshop, where she continues to work as an independent artist.
Tedeschi Blankett was among the founding members of the Red House Gallery in Tel Aviv, is a Board Member of the Italian Jewish Museum in Jerusalem, and is a member of the Association of Painters and Sculptors of Jerusalem.
Her works are in the collections of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem and the Janco Dada Museum, Ein Hod, and in private collections.
